The Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP have released the results of enforcement during the Canada Day Week 2025 traffic safety campaign, which ran from June 27 to July 6, 2025.
Area OPP officers laid a total of 215 charges and issued 166 warnings.
Charges included 31 seat-belt infractions, 58 speeding tickets, and 5 impaired charges.
A targeted blitz on Sunday, June 29, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. centred in the Jozo Weider Boulevard area…yielded 43 offence notices and one impaired charge.
