St. Marys is the latest town in the Huron-Perth health region with a measles exposure.
Huron Perth Public Health says the exposure occurred June 28th in the Emergency Department of St. Marys Memorial Hospital.
Several exposures were announced in early June at locations around Stratford and Mitchell.
The last measles exposure in Huron County occurred May 14th, at the Seaforth Community Hospital.
“Anyone who was at these locations during these timeframes needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure,” a news release from HPPH says.
