Get ready, Simcoe County! The highly anticipated Green Innovation Weekend is just weeks away, and Sustainable Orillia is ready to welcome attendees to Centennial Park in downtown Orillia on Saturday July 26-27 (Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm).
This year marks the 7th Annual Green Innovation Weekend.
“This event that has grown tremendously since its inception,” said Danny Epstein, Vice-President of Sustainable Orillia. “Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are making this year’s event bigger and better than ever. What began as a simple showcase of e-cars owned by local residents has transformed into a dynamic gathering of 28 vendors representing a broad array of businesses in the green marketplace.”
While EV vendors will be onsite with cars to test drive, attendees will also have the chance to explore cutting-edge solutions for living a more sustainable life. From eco-friendly building and home maintenance practices to green investment opportunities and more, the green marketplace will be at Orillia’s doorstep, in its central waterfront park.
