Owen Sound Police say a man is facing charges after failing to remain at the scene of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
On June 29 just after 11 p.m., Owen Sound Police say officers and Grey County Paramedics responded to a fail to remain collision near the intersection of 1st Avenue West and 11th Street West.
The pedestrian was taken to Brightshores Health System before being airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London.
Police say the pedestrian remains in hospital with serious injuries and is in stable condition.
Around 11:35 p.m. last night, the vehicle and driver was located by Owen Sound Police and they charged the 41-year-old from Owen Sound with dangerous operation causing bodily harm, failing to stop at an accident resulting in bodily harm, failing or refusing to comply with a demand, and driving with no licence.
