The decision this week by Collingwood Council to put the construction of an arts centre on the back burner is being met with the ire of both Theatre Collingwood and the founder of Collingwood Music Festival.
Concerns varying from financial priorities to parking issues downtown led to council’s decision.

And Theatre Collingwood’s artistic Director Erica Angus released a statement yesterday calling the town’s decision on the project disrespectful. She too threatened leaving by saying they’d have to consider their options beyond the boundaries of Collingwood.
