After a tip from the public, Barrie police charged a 70 year old local woman with impaired driving.
The woman left a mall on Bayfield Street around 7 last night – police were able to locate her on Livingstone Street at St. Vincent – but she refused to pull over…continuing on – slowly – finally, after police were able to park in front of her car she was stopped..and blew close to three times over the limit.
Her licence was suspended, car impounded and she’ll be in a Barrie court room July 16th.
