Jackson Shabot, Ty Myers, Marcello Carreiro and Liam Stadnyk scored third period goals for Orangeville Northmen, as they broke open a 5-5 game and went on to beat the Owen Sound North Stars 9-5 in Game 2 of the Ontario Junior B lacrosse first-round playoff series Sunday at Alder Street Rec Centre.
The series is now tied 1-1.
Noah Cupples scored twice for Owen Sound, while Carter Moran, Sly Sundown and Adam Ross added goals.
Game 3 goes Tuesday night in Orangeville, before the series shifts back to the Durham Community Centre Saturday for Game 4.
