As highly dangerous temperatures hold us in their grip – there are cooling centres in Collingwood – the Town of Collingwood has public cooling centres open at the Collingwood Public Library, the Collingwood Museum, and at the transit terminal.
There’s also a splash pad in Harbourview Park, a swimming beach at Sunset Point, with shady areas to sit, and water access and more shade at Harbourview Park. Town facilities are equipped with water bottle refill stations.
