Orillia OPP’s Major Crime Unit has arrested and charged one person with sexual assault-related offenses after an incident on June 14th.
Police were called that day after a man had allegedly sexually assaulted a youth at a local business on Murphy Road. The suspect had fled on foot.
He was identified when police canvassed the area.
The 23-year-old from Petawawa is charged with sexual interference, and sexual assault on a person under the aged of 16. He was held for a virtual bail hearing.
