Some updates have been completed at Inglis Falls Conservation Area.
There’s a new paved pathway to a viewing platform that overlooks the falls, and renovations are completed on washroom facilities at the Grey Sauble Conservative Authority property just outside of Owen Sound.
“These improvements represent an important step toward making Inglis Falls more accessible to visitors,” Grey Sauble Conservation’s Operations Manager Morgan Barrie says in a release. “By creating spaces that are inclusive and barrier-free, we are fostering greater participation in outdoor experiences and encouraging more people to connect with nature.”
Among the improvements to the washrooms are automatic doors to enhance accessibility, and the addition of baby changing stations.
The Conservation Authority says local businesses provided in-kind donations to help make the new accessible trail, and washroom upgrades a reality.
