Georgian Bluffs is underway with road surfacing work throughout the municipality.
Work got started this week and is expected to last into August.
Construction is taking place weekdays from 7am until 7pm, with possible weekend work if needed to keep everything on schedule.
Garbage and recycling collection will continue as scheduled in affected areas, but the township is recommending that garbage and recycling containers be clearly labelled with your address, and are out at the curb by 7am on collection day.
The following road sections are scheduled for single surface treatment:
- Concession 2 NCD – Highway 6 to Concession 14
- Concession 14 – Concession 2 NCD to end at Hepworth Creek
- Stone School Road – Queen Street East (Highway 6) to Concession 2 NCD
- Lindenwood Road – Concession Road 17 to Grey Road 17
- Concession Road 17 – Highway 6 to Zion Church Road
- Concession Road 17 – Zion Church Road to Lindenwood Road
- Concession 21 – Zion Church Road to Side Road 20
- Concession 3 Derby – Side Road 6 to Grey Road 16
- Micro surfacing will also take place on 1st Street between 4th Avenue and Kramer Court.
