Barrie Police had their hands full last night after a chaotic call about two men fighting led to three attests.
It all started when four adults all known to each other decided to walk to a nearby convenience store in the area of Mapleview East and Huronia Road, with two children.
Two men commenced a consensual fight en route which led to the police being alerted to and attending the situation. One male was taken into custody – a second male fled on foot into the woods, but was apprehended by the Barrie Police canine unit.
A third male and a female took the children to an address on Shalom Way where they were found unharmed.
The two fightclubbers were charged with Causing a Disturbance by Fighting. The first male arrested was also charged with Utter threats for the threats he made towards the arresting officers. The third male, located at the home on Shalom Way was charged with 2 counts of Obstruct Police and has been held for a bail hearing, while the female was later released
