A Ramara Township councillor has been sanctioned after an Integrity Commissioner report regarding a Code of Conduct complaint involving Councillor Sherri Bell was released today.
The investigation, conducted independently under the Municipal Act, concluded that Councillor Bell breached multiple sections of the Township’s Code of Conduct, including those related to decorum, intimidation, and compliance with Council resolutions.
Bell will have remuneration suspended for 90 days, and will have very limited access to non-public areas of municipal buildings and to limit her representation at Board and Committee meetings.
