The U11 Fire Department North Stars girls team hit the field in Orangeville this weekend.
Up first, they battled against Kawartha Women’s Field Club. Kawartha’s consistent ball movement kept them ahead throughout the game, ultimately securing a 21–12 win. Aniya Sutch made several impressive saves in goal. Scoring for the North Stars were Meyer Quaid (4), Mila Minard (3), Dani Adair (2), with singles from Aubrey Walker, Clara Patterson, and Evelyn Scholl.
In their second matchup, the North Stars faced off against the Oakville Lady Hawks 2 team and delivered a dominant 18–3 victory. Mila Minard led the scoring with 5 goals, followed by Aubrey Walker and Meyer Quaid with 3 each. Emily Gladwell and Heidi Singh both added 2, while Dani Adair, Evelyn Scholl, and Tae Wilson each contributed one. A fast offensive start gave the team the chance to focus on ball movement and teamwork throughout the game.
The U11 Fire Department North Stars girls will be back in action on June 15 in Oshawa.

The U9 Owen Sound Krueger Custom Steel NorthStars kicked off their weekend with a commanding 18-2 win over the Orangeville Northmen. From start to finish, the NorthStars were in complete control—excelling across all areas of the game.
A complete team performance that set the tone for a competitive weekend!
The second matchup proved more challenging, as the NorthStars faced a skilled and seasoned Newmarket Redbirds squad. Despite a valiant effort, Owen Sound fell 14-6.
Coach and fans alike were proud of the team’s fight, sportsmanship, and effort throughout the day. The NorthStars continue to grow and show promise in every game!
