Getting to the Bracebridge 150 Community Celebration and Showcase on June 7 and 8 is easier than ever, thanks to a special Bracebridge Transit service being offered all weekend long.
While there is plenty of free on-site parking available at J.D. Lang Activity Park, residents and visitors are encouraged to Ride the Wave. Local transit offers a convenient and environmentally friendly way to get to the festivities, especially if you plan to enjoy refreshments at the on-site beer gardens hosted by Bracebridge Hall.
On Saturday, June 7, the Wave bus will take an alternate route and head up Fraserburg Road to make a special stop at J.D. Lang Activity Park throughout the day, making it simple to join the celebration without the need to drive. Saturday service runs from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. as per the usual schedule.
For this special occasion, Bracebridge Transit will offer FREE service on Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend the town’s historic 150-year anniversary event. This special transit service helps reduce traffic, supports sustainability, and ensures that more people can take part in this community milestone.
Due to the special event service, bus stop #140 at 657 Cedar Lane will be temporarily closed on Saturday, June 7 and not available on Sunday, June 8.
