In honour of Juneteenth, a group called Making Change is again presenting the historical tour “Footsteps To Freedom,” a local Black History Bus Tour on Saturday, June 14th.
It kicks off at 9:30am from Anderson’s Kitchen on Cedar Pointe Drive in Barrie and stops at Oro African Church then winds up at Clarksburg’s Sheffield Black History and cultural Museum. Tour goers will be back in Barrie by 3:30pm.
Special highlights include on-site family descendants serving as guides, interactive experiences, and additional historical materials.
