Walk For Alzheimer’s Happens this Sunday in Bracebridge

The annual Muskoka Walk for Alzheimer’s happens this Sunday (May 25th) in Bracebridge.

It’s happening at Memorial Park between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm and raises funds to help fight Alzheimer’s and dementia throughout the community.

Alford says you can sign up for the walk at walkforalzheimers.ca

Just choose ‘Ontario’ and then ‘Bracebridge’ and you’ll be able to sign up there.

The goal this year is to raise $50,000 during the walk.

Alford reminds that every dollar stays local in the organization’s coverage areas Muskoka and Parry Sound.

Last year support was provided to over 800 clients in these areas.
