A man from Orillia is now facing charges after Orillia OPP received a call about a suspicious person who was possibly armed with a weapon.
On May 15th, just after 8:30 am, police were called to West Street South in Orillia. Through their investigation, they found that the suspect had allegedly broken into a nearby garage and taken items, before being confronted by the homeowner.
The 44-year-old man is charged with possession of a weapon, break and enter, mischief under $5,000, and theft under $5,000.
He was held for a bail hearing.
