Owen Sound police say their Criminal Investigations Branch has located the white Honda Civic believed to have been involved in the fatal hit-and-run collision that on Saturday (May 10).
It happened at about 3 a.m. near the intersection of 5th Street East and 5th Avenue East.
Police say the vehicle, a 2018 white Honda Civic, has been seized by investigators and is undergoing a forensic examination.
They add, “While this is a significant development in the investigation, police continue to appeal to the public for assistance. Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to review any available surveillance, doorbell, or dash camera footage from the hours surrounding the incident.”
