The City of Owen Sound is going to be working this week on removing the holiday light decorations in the River District.
The seasonal lights will be removed and replaced with banners one block at a time, starting with 2nd Avenue East.
During the week of May 12th-15th, crews will be working from 6-11 am to make the change.
All intersections from 7th Street East to 11th Street East will remain open and businesses will still be accessible.
The City is sharing the following schedule:
– Monday, May 12: 700 block of 2nd Ave E
– Tuesday, May 13: 800 block of 2nd Ave E
– Wednesday, May 14: 900 block of 2nd Ave E
– Thursday, May 15: 1000 block of 2nd Ave E
