Grey Highlands is awarding an over $900,000 contract to replace the St. Vincent Townline culvert.
Council approved awarding the tender to E.C. King Contracting during its meeting on Wednesday.
This comes after in 2024 when the municipality brought on R.J. Burnside and Associates to complete an inspection and condition assessment of four culverts along the road in Euphrasia.
It was recommended three of the four culverts be replaced.
The 2025 budget included funding for an increased scope of the work to include replacing the culvert.
The municipality received six bids for the project, and staff recommending proceeding with E.C. King Contracting.
