South Bruce OPP say two people are facing charges after executing a search warrant in Kincardine.
On May 2, police executed a search warrant at a home along Albert Street, where officers recovered about $28,000 worth of stolen property, including an ATV, a snowmobile, and surveying equipment. A small quantity of suspected illicit drugs were also seized and the owners of the seized property have been contacted.
As a result, police say a 47-year-old from Kincardine is facing four counts of possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a substance.
They were released and are set to appear in court next month.
Police also charged a 46-year-old from Kincardine with three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, failing to comply with a release order, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, four counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a substance.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.
