Nate Laycock led the offence with six goals as the Owen Sound North Stars defeated the Wallaceburg Red Devils 14-11 in Ontario Junior B Lacrosse action Sunday afternoon at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.
It was tied 7-7 after two periods. The North Stars scored seven in the third period.
Owen Sound (3-2) won back-to-back games over the weekend. Next up for the North Stars is a home game at Durham Community Centre on Saturday, May 10 against the Welland JrB Raiders. That’s at 7 p.m.

The Owen Sound Senior B North Stars were also victorious Sunday, defeating Brooklin Merchants 10-8. The North Stars split a pair of games over the weekend to open their season.
