Two people from Tay Township are now facing charges after Southern Georgian Bay OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Forest Harbour Parkway.
At around 5 o’clock Friday morning, police carried out their search, and seized a quantity of suspected drugs.
Police say that substances believed to be cocaine, purple fentanyl, prescription medications such as Oxycodone and Clonazepam were all found.
Officers also found a .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun with a fully loaded clip, a quantity of ammunition in various calibers, a conducted energy weapon, and an expandable baton were also seized.
A 42-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have both been charged with drug and weapons offenses. They’re both expected in court at a future date.
