A South Bruce Peninsula man faces impaired driving charges after crashing his car into a ditch … while trying to avoid a turkey.
Grey Bruce OPP say they responded to the single vehicle incident just after 9 a.m. Saturday morning on Sideroad 9 in Georgian Bluffs.
“The driver had swerved to avoid a turkey and lost control of the vehicle, ending up in a ditch,” OPP say in release.
The 44-year-old man from South Bruce Peninsula was charged with impaired operation, and had his vehicle impounded and licence suspended.
