Kincardine is marking 20 years of hosting the Multicultural Celebration.
The free annual event is coming up on May 13 at the Davidson Centre from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. where attendees will have the chance to explore each other’s cultures.
It will feature ethnic food, traditions and an open forum to discuss and promote understanding within the community.
Dr. Chandra Tripathi founded the event in 2005 and says it has been a beacon of unity by bringing people together through their cultures.
“It’s more than an event; it’s a living example of how respect, understanding, and shared joy can strengthen our community. I warmly invite all cultural groups to join us by setting up a display at the event – whether through food, music, art, or storytelling – to help spread the message of inclusivity and togetherness far and wide,” says Dr. Tripathi.
