1) Whether it’s groceries, gas or rent — the cost of living continues to be a challenge for many Canadians. How can the federal government make life more affordable?
Reduce all taxes; reduce energy costs. Build an east to west pipeline. Energy effects everything from our transportation, home heating and availability to food supply. inter-provincial trade is a necessity
Bring the adults to the table and negotiate and introduce a zero-tariff policy with the USA for imported food.
Keep the federal government needs to be held accountable for the billions of dollars spent on overseas projects that have no benefit to Canadians.
The United Party will shift from an individual-based tax system to a family-based tax model, where families are taxed as a unit. Households with children receive higher deductions and credits. We’ll Introduce “Family Tax Allowances,” allowing parents to deduct a portion of their income tax for each child they have. Families with four or more children will pay minimal income tax.
Lower corporate tax rates to match or undercut the U.S. and global competitors, making Canada an attractive destination for investment in energy, mining, and manufacturing. We will incentivize investment, resource and industrial growth creating new.
By cutting corporate taxes, streamlining regulatory approvals, and aggressively expanding infrastructure, we will restore Canada’s position as a global energy and resources powerhouse which is necessary for wealth creation.
2) Home ownership continues to be inaccessible for many, especially younger Canadians. What actions can the federal government take to help?
The United Party of Canada will provide financial support for new homeowners.
I will institute common sense back into the government bureaucracy and quit sterilizing land in towns in our riding, so we can get building smaller and more affordable detached homes. Most subdivision houses are excessively large and unaffordable to first time buyers.
I will cut the red tape and cut bureaucracy for land development and construction.
Instead of having 1 person in charge of a file and seeing it through to completion we now have 10 government employees who are simply gate keepers costing taxpayers millions per year but reducing incentive. No wonder we have a problem with the economy.
Regulations are destroying builders and developers and halting development. We will reduce development fees.
The United Party of Canada will incentivize builders with simple straight forward options.
We will encourage and help young families by taxing the family as a unit. Households with children receive higher deductions and credits. We’ll Introduce “Family Tax Allowances,” allowing parents to deduct a portion of their income tax for each child they have. This will put money back into the hands of young Canadians.
3) How would you approach the current trade tensions between Canada and the United States?
Currently, we are looking at a10% tariff excluding products on USCMA – which include agriculture. Adults should have come to the table early prior to tariff implementation – but they didn’t listen.
We will stop fear hate mongering and anti-American rhetoric led by the main parties and focus on getting get back to business.
We’ll Shut down fentanyl labs, convict those responsible and secure our borders.
Nevertheless, we are now looking at 10%, with some exceptions.
Public diplomacy will highlight the benefits of a strong U.S.-Canada trade relationship
Create regular summits between trade ministers and leaders to pre-empt disputes and use the USMCA Free Trade Commission to address and resolve issues swiftly. Agriculture trade should be fair and reciprocal.
We will Increase a mutual recognition of standards to reduce non-tariff barriers and work together on border infrastructure and customs modernization to ease the flow of goods.
We will promote stakeholder consultations to ensure trade policy reflects the interests of workers, businesses, and communities.
With competent leadership this will turn around.
4) How can we strengthen the Canadian economy?
Cutting taxes grows the economy. Inter-provincial trade is now finally being discussed.
We need a pipeline. Energy runs everything. Windmills and solar panels have limited efficiency. Invest in nuclear.
If we bring energy costs down everything becomes more affordable.
We will offer new homeowners support. Incentivize building.
Unvetted immigration has had disastrous results. It has decimated our social safety net and created much of the housing crisis we are now experiencing.
The United Party will shift from an individual-based tax system to a family-based tax model, where families are taxed as a unit.
This means households with children receive higher deductions and credits, reducing the overall tax burden on parents.
We’ll Introduce “Family Tax Allowances,” allowing parents to deduct a portion of their income tax for each child they have, scaling up for larger families.
Families with four or more children pay minimal income tax, incentivizing larger families.
Lower corporate tax rates to match or undercut the U.S. and global competitors, making Canada an attractive destination for investment in energy, mining, and manufacturing.
The United Party will remove capital gains taxes on new energy projects to spur development and increase private sector involvement.
5) What needs to change with Canada’s criminal justice system?
Equal Application of the Law.
Political elites and public servants seem to be treated more leniently than the average citizen. We must:
• Strengthen independent oversight of law enforcement and prosecutorial discretion.
• Implement mandatory public transparency for prosecution decisions in high-profile cases.
• Empower an independent judicial review board to assess cases where political interference is alleged.
• Tighten bail eligibility for violent and repeat offenders.
• Implement a risk assessment framework
• Increase funding and access mental health support.
• Establish sentencing guidelines
• Create a publicly accessible sentencing database for transparency and review.
• Mandatory training for judges on unconscious bias and legal consistency.
• We will thorough review of politically influenced judges to ensure fairness and penalise those who fail the review.
• Make ethics watchdogs more powerful and independent, with power to initiate investigations and enforce consequences.
• Reform or replace internal police oversight bodies with fully independent civilian agencies.
• Increase public transparency in investigations of police misconduct.
• Update or remove obsolete laws.
• Focus on human trafficking and child exploitation.
6) Would you prefer reducing or increasing federal government spending?
REDUCE. WE need to reduce and streamline federal employee staff.
In 2015 there were 257,000 federal employees: 2025 – 336,000 an in crease of 19%. An average employee makes approximately $100,000/year including benefits; a 8.5 billion dollar increase for Canadian taxpayers.
The benefit? Productivity has lessened rather than increased.
Government over spending is out of control. Much of it through the supporting of special interest group projects worldwide.
The Trudeau government made several financial commitments to support LGBTQ2S+ and DEI.
$30 Million Commitment (2019) to advance human rights and improve socio-economic outcomes for LGBTQ2S+
$1.7 Million for Global Initiatives (2024) to support LGBTQ2S+ initiatives worldwide.
$1.75 Million for Emergency Assistance Programs (2023) to enhance emergency assistance programs for LGBTQ2S
$2.7 Million via Canada Fund for Local LGBTQ Initiatives (2022–2023)
Anti-Racism Strategy – $110 Million (2024–2028)
Black-Focused Investments – Over $872 Million
DEI Consultant Contracts – Over $30 Million (Since 2019)
• Department of National Defence: $9.3 million
• Employment and Social Development Canada: $7 million
• Parole Board of Canada: $2.3 million
• Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada: $2.1 million
• Canadian Heritage: $1.7 million
• Workplace Equity Initiatives – $9.5 Million (2023)
• 50–30 Challenge Ecosystem Fund – Over $10 Million
7) What policies do you support to reduce emissions?
At 1% of global emissions Canada has NO impact on global emissions and spending atrocious amounts of money on climate change guidelines is like flushing millions down the toilet.
The UN website claims that climate change due to human contribution accounts for less that 1.5% of climate warming.
International climate agreements such as the Paris Accord, unfairly penalize Canada yet allow major polluters like China and India to continue increasing emissions.
The United Party will cancel the Net-Zero Agenda and Remove Emissions Caps and
• Withdraw from international climate agreements such as the Paris Accord, which unfairly penalize Canada while allowing major polluters like China and India to continue increasing emissions.
• Eliminate all federal emissions reduction targets and carbon taxes that drive up energy costs for Canadians and destroy competitiveness.
• Implement balanced economic growth with responsible resource development while stewarding our resources and environment without sacrificing our industries to radical climate policies.
We will utilize our natural resources to restore Canada’s economic prosperity while protecting our natural environment. We do not need the Paris Accord or other global organizations to implement common sense plans to protect our environment.
Canada has the expertise to implement common sense plans to benefit all.
8) The current government banned a number of firearms over its last two terms with mixed reaction from Canadians. Would you keep or expand the gun ban, or remove it?
REMOVE IT. We will restore the rights of law-abiding gun owners by repealing all Liberal gun control laws and ensuring that Canadians can defend themselves and their property.
• the approach where responsible citizens have the right to own with proper training and licensing.
• We will introduce legislation making firearms personal property.
The United will introduce a comprehensive firearm rights restoration bill.
• Cancel all funding allocated to the firearm buyback program, redirecting those resources toward police anti-gang and border security initiatives.
• Ensure that any data collected on firearm owners through buyback registration is immediately deleted
• Amend the Firearms Act to prevent future governments from reinstating similar buyback schemes without parliamentary oversight.
• We will amend the Criminal Code to explicitly state that Canadians have the right to use reasonable force, including firearms, to defend their life, family, and property.
• Re-introduce mandatory minimum prison sentences for illegal firearm possession, trafficking, and gun-related violent crimes.
• Introduce specialized anti-gang enforcement units
• Expand the powers of the Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA)
• Ensure hunters, farmers, ranchers, and rural residents have the right to own and use firearms for protection against predators and criminal threats.
We will focus on the real issue – illegal firearms.
