The City of Owen Sound is launching a survey about the quality, reliability and availability of local sports fields, playgrounds, roads, sidewalks, and community centres.
The feedback received from the community will assist in guiding long-term decisions about how the city maintains and invests in its various assets as part of the Asset Management Plan.
Survey participants will be asked to measure the levels of service by judging the condition of the asset, if the asset is functioning properly and as scheduled, and if they are easy to access.
“It’s important to note that levels of service for this engagement are not about daily operations like snow removal schedules, the number of available staff, or garbage pickup frequency. Instead, the focus is on the infrastructure itself and the experience it delivers,” says the city in a release.
The survey can be completed online here, or request an alternate version by emailing communications@owensound.ca.
The survey will close May 2 at noon.
