South Bruce OPP will be patrolling local roads looking for traffic violations this Easter long-weekend.
Their annual campaign will see ramped up enforcement from Friday April 18th to Monday April 21st.
Officers will be focusing their efforts on our roads to encourage safe travel. They’ll be addressing seatbelt use, distracted driving, speeding, impaired driving and other forms of unsafe driving that puts other people on the road at risk.
OPP say seatbelt non-compliance can result in a fine of $240 and two demerit points.
They say, “The safety of our roadways are everyone’s responsibility, please do your part by abiding by the rules of the road.”
