Orillia OPP are investigating a fail to remain accident in which a child was hit. It happened on Penetang Street in Orillia just after 3:30pm on Thursday.
Police are looking for the driver of a white Ford pickup – the driver is described as Caucasian, wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses with a long red beard. He left the scene and headed toward West Street.
Anyone with surveillance video in the area is asked to call crimestoppers.
