The City of Orillia has officially terminated the state of emergency declared March 30th in the wake of the ice storm. The city says conditions have stabilized.
Mayor Don McIsaac noted in a press release an incredible sense of pride in how city staff, partners, and community members came together during the crisis.
The Waste Diversion Site is open with extended hours and fees waived for essential storm debris, including brush, wood, drywall, and storm-damaged materials.
