The Bracebridge Library has made changes that will better support patrons and staff as it continues to grow into its new space inside the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre.
Hannah Strand is now the Community Engagement Manager after spending the last two years as a Children and Youth Services Programmer.
“I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Community Engagement Manager at the Bracebridge Library,” she says. “I greatly enjoyed having the privilege of connecting with our library community during my time as the Children and Youth Services Programmer, and look forward to serving our community on a broader scale with this new position. Utilizing my educational, managerial, and creative background to provide dynamic services and programs for our patrons is a dream come true, and every day working at the Bracebridge Library is a delight. I could not ask for a better team to join me on this journey as we continue to grow together.”
Meanwhile, Crystal Ilczyna is the library’s new Client Services Manager. She leaves her previous role as an Administrative Assistant.
“Crystal’s exceptional leadership, dedication, and unwavering support for both our staff and library patrons make her the perfect fit for this position,” says Crystal Bergstrome, CEO and Chief Librarian. “Her passion for community engagement and her ability to create a welcoming, efficient environment will continue to strengthen our library services. We look forward to all the great things she will accomplish as we move forward.”
