Meaford is looking to hear from the community as it updates its Food Refreshment Vehicle Licensing Program.
Food truck operators, local businesses and residents are invited to provide feedback.
“We’re looking to make the licensing process fairer, more efficient, and more supportive of both mobile food businesses and the community. If you’ve had experience with food trucks in Meaford-whether running one, hosting them at your business, or enjoying their food-this is you chance to share your thoughts,” says the municipality in a release.
Based on previous feedback, the municipality has already implemented some updates including simplifying food truck categories into motorized and non-motorized, and using a lottery process to determine which food truck will be able to set up at a municipal site.
If you would like to have a say as to what can be improved, email ecdev@meaford.ca before April 17.
