The City of Owen Sound is accepting reports of pothole concerns as staff get ready to conduct repairs.
Potholes are created when water gets under the top layer of asphalt through cracks on the road. After the water freezes and expands, vehicles passing over these cracks breaks the pavement leading to potholes, which often appear in the spring.
To help city staff address potholes around Owen Sound, residents are invited to submit concerns when you see a pothole.
Depending on the location and weather, staff are typically able to repair potholes in a few days of receiving the report.
