Provincial Police are appealing for tips after a break-in at a business in Mount Forest.
According to the OPP, an unidentified suspect shattered a pane of a glass door and entered a business on Main Street South in Mount Forest sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday morning.
“The suspect then ransacked the interior, leaving with an amplifier and electric guitar and fleeing northbound on Main Street,” OPP say in a release.
OPP did not disclose exactly which business the alleged break-in and theft occurred at.
Police say the suspect is believed to be male, and was dressed in all black and was wearing a backpack. The estimated value of the stolen property is $350.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
