The Town of South Bruce Peninsula says Hepworth area residents will have a new postal arrangement after the suspension of use of the former post office in the village.
Back in 2023, the post office in Cindy’s Variety closed, at the time, it was though temporarily. Mail was rerouted to the Wiarton post office.
Now, Canada Post has sent out letters about the installation of community mailboxes for customers affected by the previous location’s closure.
The Town says, “These letters require you to confirm your current PO Box number and physical (civic 9-1-1) address. The survey can be picked up along with your regular mail at the Wiarton Post Office.”
They’re encouraging residents to take the time to fill out the requested information to ensure a smooth transition to a new community mailbox.
