It’s the final week for Owen Sound residents to have their say about short-term rental licensing.
Owen Sound city council approved its Short-Term Rental (STR) by-law during their meeting on December 4, 2023, and city staff is now doing a one-year review since licensing requirements went into effect.
Opinions and input collected through the survey will help to shape the future of short-term rentals in Owen Sound.
Since March 1, 2024, all short-term rentals require a license to operate, and may only operate for 180 days per year.
The survey can be found on the City’s website here until March 14th.
