The Savour Owen Sound festival is underway, and it’s a chance for you to support local restaurants.
Mayor Ian Boddy says, “You can go to a number of participating restaurants and there will be some kind of deal whether it’s the dessert thrown in or some type of discount. ”
He adds, it’s an opportunity to support local business and discover new places to eat, “We encourage you to go to your favourites and some that maybe you haven’t been to before and try different things,” says Boddy.
There are also chances for you to win prizes. You can scan the Savour Owen Sound QR Code to enter for a chance to win a $1,000 foodie basket. Your entry also serves as your vote for your favourite participating restaurant, and you can win $50 gift certificates to participating restaurants.
