The Owen Sound and District Chamber of Commerce is appointing a new Chief Executive Officer.
Tiffany James will assume the role next month after having been part of the chamber since 2018 in the events and communications role.
“Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening business engagement, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing the chamber’s outreach initiatives. Her leadership, creativity, and deep understanding of the local business landscape have been instrumental in the chamber’s continued success,” says the chamber in a release.
In the new role, James will be focusing on expanding membership benefits, as well as strengthen advocacy efforts for local businesses, and continue her work in creating networking and professional development opportunities for its members.
James says she is honoured to step into the role and continue serving the business community.
“The chamber has always been a pillar of support for local businesses, and I look forward to leading initiatives that promote collaboration, innovation and prosperity for Owen Sound businesses and beyond,” says James.
