The inaugural season of the Grey Bruce Minor League had a thrilling playoffs Sunday in Owen Sound. An amazing success of a season and finals. This year, 18 teams of kids improved their skills at five different Grand Slam Events in Grey/Bruce Clubs.
There were cheers, tears and yells of joy and frustration.
In the end, A Division Champions were Team Hunter of Kincardine over regular season first seed Team Quibell of Port Elgin.
In the B Division finals Team Court of Kincardine winning over regular season first seed Team Fee of Chesley.
A great day for Kincardine, but we all know this season has been dominated by a dozen teams all trading wins.
Many of our local kids are moving on to play the U12 Provincials in Palmerston April 3-6.
