Bruce County is taking applications for this year’s Summer Company Program.
The program is making its return this year to provide aspiring young entrepreneurs between the ages of 15 to 29 with the tools and support needed to start their own summer business.
The Business to Bruce run program will give each participant a $3,000 grant to start their business, comprehensive business training in sales, marketing, and bookkeeping, and mentorship from experienced local business owners.
Bruce County Manager of Economic Development Jeffery Loney says, “We are pleased to offer young entrepreneurs with guidance and support to help them launch their own businesses through the Summer Company program.”
More details on the program can be found on the Business to Bruce website here.
