Malcolm Spence scored the overtime winner as the Erie Otters edged the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Sam Alfano had a pair for Erie (27-21-3-1) and Dylan Edwards also scored.
Landen Hookey scored twice for Owen Sound (18-28-4-3) and Ben Cormier had one. The Attack managed three of four points in their back to back with Erie, but slipped one behind the Soo Greyhounds for the eighth and final playoff spot in the OHL’s Western Conference. The Greyhounds beat Sarnia Saturday.
