There’s a job fair coming up in Port Elgin.
It’s set to be held on February 18th at the Port Elgin legion.
The event is being put on by Bruce County, Saugeen Shores and the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce.
There will be part-time, full-time, summer job and career opportunities.
John Fee from the chamber of commerce says for example, Goodwill Industries is opening a location in Port Elgin (in the same plaza as Food Basics) and they will be hiring an entire complement of staff.
Fee says they have about 30 employers now, and they may have about 40 by the time the event happens.
