A Brampton man died Friday in a multi-vehicle pile up on Highway 11 in Orillia.
The crash occurred during heavy snow squalls, and forced the closure of the highway for most of the day. Dozens of vehicles were stranded and Orillia Transit buses were used to take their occupants to the Rotary Place arena.
OPP say 11 people were taken to hospital with various injuries. Crews worked into the early hours of Saturday to remove the wreckage and clear the highway of snow and ice.
