Collingwood OPP interrupted a would-be thief around midnight yesterday (Wednesday).
An officer spotted some suspicious behaviour on Spruce Street – a woman walking up and down various driveways. As the patrol car approached the female fled on foot. In an ultimate act of optimism she chose to hide, crouched behind a vehicle parked in a driveway. She wasn’t there long – an investigation led to her arrest – the 27 year old from Collingwood was charged with possessing property obtained by crime, trespassing and failing to comply with probation.
The suspect has a court date March 18th.
