Saugeen Shores police are investigating after a death in Port Elgin.
They say just before 5 a.m. Tuesday, February 4th, officers were dispatched to the area of Stafford Street and Johnston Avenue.
They say an adult male was located in medical distress and was transported to hospital. They say he has since been pronounced dead.
They note a post mortem examination is to be conducted to determine the cause of his death.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and note there are no concerns for public safety.
They did not release the man’s name.
