Saugeen Shores Police have laid drug charges against three people in Southampton.
Police say on Sunday, February 2nd, they responded to a report of a possible impaired driver.
They located the vehicle at the local gas station where they say the driver refused to identify himself to police and was arrested.
Police say through the continuation of their investigation two passengers were also arrested.
A quantity of cocaine was located within the vehicle.
A 38-year-old male of Port Elgin has been charged with:
– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
– Driving while under suspension
A 35-year-old female of Listowel has been charged with:
– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
A 31-year-old male of Brampton has been charged with:
– Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
