
Landen Hookey had a three-point game as the Owen Sound Attack downed the Brampton Steelheads 5-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Hookey, Declan Waddick, Tristan Delisle, Harry Nansi and Pierce Mbuyi had the goals for the Attack (16-26-3-3), which made it back-to-back wins over the weekend and extended its point-streak for four games.
Angus MacDonell, Mason Zebeski and Troy Patton scored for Brampton (20-19-8), which has dropped seven of the past 10 games.
Owen Sound moved to within two points of the Soo Greyhounds (19-27-1-1) for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Soo lost 5-2 to Saginaw yesterday evening.
Next up for the Attack is a trip to Kitchener Friday to face the Rangers (35-10-3-1).
