Georgian Bluffs is taking applications for residents to join the Multi-Municipal Energy Working Group (MMEWG).
Township council is looking for applicants to fill the one vacancy on this collaborative initiative.
The group brings representatives from across Grey and Bruce counties to address shared challenges as well as advocate for best practices in energy generation and storage.
People who will represent the township must live in Georgian Bluffs and can attend virtual meetings held bi-monthly on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
“This is an opportunity to actively contribute to the energy landscape in the region, gain experience in municipal advocacy, and make a meaningful difference in shaping the future of energy generation and storage,” says the township in a release.
Resumes can be submitted via email to Manager of Legislative Services and Clerk Carly Craig at clerks@georgianbluffs.ca or dropped off in person at the administration building at 177964 Grey Road 18 in Owen Sound by Feb, 7.
