  • Meridian Credit Union in Owen Sound will be closing at 3:30pm today.
  • Conformation class held at Howlers Dog Sports  is cancelled
  • Saugeen Shores Council meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. today, January 27, will now be held virtually.
  • CIBC Southampton and CIBC Kincardine are closed as of 3 PM.
  • Peninsula Hub in Wiarton is Closed
  • All Beaver Valley Figure Skating Club Programs in Thornbury are cancelled
  • The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library and Adult Learning Centre will be closing at 5:00 pm today
  • Daytime Tara Arena programs cancelled, the Municipal Office in Chesley is closed as of 1:00 pm today, Daytime programs at the Arran Tara Arena and Community Centre are cancelled.
  • The Meaford Public Library has closed today at 12:30 pm.
  • Georgian Bluffs Administration Office will close at 1:00 p.m. today, Monday, January 27. Waste collection is also delayed and may not be completed as scheduled. Trucks will continue operating as long as conditions allow.
  • Complete Wellness in Wiarton is closing at noon today due to weather.
  • Dr. Ken Fenwick’s office in Ferndale is closed today due to weather.
  • The Peninsula Family Health Team sites in Lions Head and Tobermory will be closing at noon today
  • The VON Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic of Saugeen Shores will be closed from 1:00 on for in person appointments. If you have a scheduled appointment, you will be contacted by the clinic to reschedule.
  • From the Municipality of Kincardine:
    • The Tiverton Sports Centre will be closed today.
    • The pool at the Davidson Centre will be closing at 1 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
    • The Municipal Administration Centre is closed
    • The Underwood Community Centre is closed.
    • Programming Cancellations at the Davidson Centre include:
      • Swimming lessons for the evening
      • 1 p.m. Leisure Swim
      • 7 p.m. Aquafit
      • 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Lane Swims
    • The Davidson Centre currently remains open for drop-in activities, rentals, and health club use.
    • Sideroad 5S from Southline to Huron-Kincardine West Boundary due to heavy drifting.
    • Saugeen Street from Kingsway to Broadway Street has been closed due to heavy drifting and poor visibility.

 

  • All Harmony Hockey programs in Wiarton are cancelled today, a make up day will be scheduled at a later date
  • Owen Sound Family Health Team closing at 2 p.m. There will be no after hour clinic appointments today.
  • Please be advised that due to road and weather conditions, all recycling collection vehicles are being removed.
    The affected areas are Highway 6 north of Wiarton and all roads east of Highway 6 (north of Wiarton).
    All residents who were not already collected in the affected areas are advised to place your material out on your next collection day.
  • The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library and Adult Learning Centre will be closing at 5:00 pm today due to inclement weather.
  • Peninsula Hub in Wiarton is closed due to weather
  • All Beaver Valley Figure Skating Club  Monday night programs are cancelled today.
